Matt Beaton

Originally from Canada, Matt was raised in a Bible Church family in Duncanville, Texas. Growing up, he developed a love of late 80’s and early 90’s Christian alt-rock, especially Adam Again, Swirling Eddies, Breakfast With Amy, Altar Boys, and Undercover. From the mid 90’s to the early aughts he was the guitarist in the Texas-based indie rock band Lewis. He then spent a good part of his adult life in Chicago, converted to Catholicism and now resides in Austin as a “semi-practicing” Catholic. He makes music sporadically under the name The City Will Save Us.

Tony Hormillosa

Tony is originally from Las Vegas, NV, but moved as a child when his parents got the call to become Catholic Charismatic evangelists. Growing up, he and his siblings were not allowed to listen to secular music so they were introduced to Christian Rock at its earliest stages with Larry Norman, Keith Green, Barry McGuire, Andre Crouch and many others.  As a teenager he formed a Christian rock band with his siblings called Brother Sister. After college he played bass for the “secular” band Pleasant Grove in Dallas, TX. He continues to play music in various projects today.
